UNICEF Cote d'Ivoire Monitoring P0637 & for monitoring the Education Sector PlanTo better monitor the education sectorial plan, the Ministry of Education has adopted DFA Monitoring with the support of UNICEF.The DFA Monitoring application, a web-based data management tool, facilitates the tracking of data management plans; the application supports the creation of a layered indicator framework, setting baseline values and targets at regular intervals to track progress towards the target.In 2017, the Ministry of Education of Cote D’Ivoire began working on DFA Monitoring to build its Education Sectoral plan- Plan d'Action du Plan Sectoriel Education-Formation 2017-2020 with a set of indicators to better monitor and disseminate results. This monitoring platform will comprise also of the dashbaord, mapping tool as well as customised reports to better disseminate and monitor the results. CSF will also build the capacity of the Ministry team on how to manage the system.CSF supported the Ministry of Education with managing the contents of their strategic and operational plans, and also developed a custom public dashboard and portal to support better visualization and dissemination of programmatic and budget information. The end product makes it easy for the different sectors of the ministry to monitor their progress.
