About Us
A Not For Profit on a Mission.
CSF is a nonprofit organization established in 1963 that engages with communities to build information technology solutions that lead to good development outcomes sustained by reliable development processes.
- History
Founded in 1963, CSF has a 60-year and counting history of successful implementation of public sector programmes around the world. From its start, it focused on applying information systems and management principles to community institutions (e.g. hospitals, local organizations) and development settings.
Over time, CSF expanded beyond local institutional settings toward broader development and human-development work, particularly via information technology, data systems, monitoring & evaluation, and open data infrastructure.
Still, community is at the heart of everything we do.
- Partners
CSF collaborates with a broad spectrum of stakeholders at global, regional, and national levels to implement our development projects.
Our primary stakeholders are government institutions and civil society organisations working with us to implement solutions at the community level. Our projects are sponsored by development partners and research institutions.
