UNDCO UN Info Online monitoring and reporting tool for national UN development frameworksCommunity Systems Foundation, in collaboration with UNDCO, developed UNInfo, an online tool for planning, monitoring and reporting on national UN Development Action Frameworks and Business Operations Strategies (UNDAF + BoS).UN Country Teams prepare Development Action Frameworks and Business Operations Strategies in order to implement activities that will accelerate national development priorities. They use results-based management to plan, cost, implement, monitor, and measure collaborative interventions with various stakeholders. These require clear indicators, time-bound targets, and clearly defined responsibilities for all stakeholders.The UNInfo system serves to make national strategic frameworks more accessible, link them to data for monitoring, and help UN agencies coordinate their collaborative activities. The system also improves the transparency and accountability of UN initiatives, by making the UN’s work at the country, regional and global level publicly accessible.
