For the first time, Community Systems Foundation (CSF) is opening a public fundraising campaign.

Over the past decades, CSF has worked with governments and UN partners in over 120 countries to build open, country-owned data systems like Data For All and OpenEMIS—helping ensure that decisions in education, health, and planning are grounded in reliable, timely evidence.

Yet a significant gap remains.

Many countries still lack the tools, infrastructure, and capacity needed to turn data into better decisions on the ground. Without accessible and well-designed systems, critical choices about schools, health services, and development priorities are often made with incomplete or outdated information.

To help address this challenge, CSF is launching the Data For All Fund.

This fund is designed to expand access to open, scalable data systems that are owned and sustained by countries themselves. By supporting the development and deployment of these tools, the fund will help ministries, planners, and communities make more informed decisions—ensuring that resources reach those who need them most.

The Data For All Fund represents a new step for CSF: engaging a broader community of supporters who believe that equitable access to data is essential for sustainable development.

We are grateful for the partnerships that have made our work possible over the years, and we are excited to build on that foundation. With this fund, we aim to extend the reach and impact of data-driven systems—so that every country has the tools needed to translate data into action.
