Community Voices - Jeffery Charles, CSO Trinidad & Tobago

We were in Trinidad and Tobago in January assisting the Central Statistics Office with the launch of the latest MICS 6 Report.

With the support of UNICEF, CSF developed a MICS data dissemination portal for a digital launch of the latest MICS 6 findings. With training from CSF technical experts on various tools that are part of the DATA NeTT portal, the CSO team is independently administering and managing the data portal.

The DATA NeTT portal leverages several open source tools developed under the Data For All (DFA) Initiative. ​As an extension of our Community Voices series, we present a brief testimonial from Jeffery Charles, from the Central Statistics Office of Trinidad and Tobago on his experience of working on the DFA tools.

Jeffery used DevInfo in 2008 and is excited to onboard the DFA initiative with the intuitive tools to manage and disseminate data.
